DOCUMENTARY: The MAKING OF THE SAMPLE LIBRARY “SALU”

In 2022, we had the opportunity to work on a dream project that exercised all of my creative muscles - music composing, as well as filming & editing. We journeyed to the beautiful Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia - a sanctuary in the middle of a forest.

We filmed and edited a dozen videos for Orchestral Tools over the course of 9 months - trailers, interviews, and tours of the property. The crown jewel is a 12 minute documentary called “The inward journey: The making of Salu,” which I also composed the music for.

Premier sample library creators Orchestral Tools partnered with David Kudell to create this trailer for composer Tom Holkenborg’s percussion sample library.
